Blogs!
I have my own blog and I love to read several different
blogs on a regular basis, including following their posts on Facebook. This
habit was always difficult to keep up with because of work, homework and life
but it was always a guilty pleasure. Now, this class, has given me the perfect
excuse to dig into my favorite blogs and get to know the writers on a more
professional basis. Preparing for this
assignment I viewed my blogs to
determine which ones are written by early childhood professionals; once I found
two I located the individual email addresses, composed a lovely email asking them to join me on this journey. As of
today I am still waiting to hear from them, if I don’t I will scour my blog
list and keep trying because I know that the professionals I am reaching out to
share the same passion and love for young children as I. Here’s hoping for good
results.
Website
I choose this website because
I work as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher for students Birth to
Three so this is a source I have utilized before for work related questions. I
look forward to exploring the site in more depth as well as watching their
podcast series.
Hi Stephanie,
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting for a return email as well. I didn't realize that this first blog requested prior work, just as you stated the lack of time prevents me from having time left to do anything extra. I just emailed my perspective contacts on Friday, therefore, I am not looking for a response until sometime next week. I hope early in the week, so that I will have time to respond and gather more information before the next blog assignment.
Good Luck for a quick response.
I see that you work with children from birth to three--Kudos to you. I love the babies, but just to kiss and love on until they are in distress, then I kindly and quickly give them back. LOL.
Great way to start your blog. Great information and that's the website I decided to use as well because I've used it while in undergraduate years so Im familiar with it. But great post.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great experience and zero to three is a good age. That is the age that can set the standards for the rest of a child's life. I am ready to get deeper into this class because it seems like it will be very interesting.
